Big Apple Cider and Perry Tastings

In the spacious surroundings of Dragon Orchard you can sample the entries in our Cider and Perry Trials.  Many of the cider and perry makers will have stalls selling a range of bottled and draught ciders, perries and apple juice, plus a range of other orchard-based products such as honey, jam, chutney, etc.

Or just wander amongst the fruit trees in the orchard, soaking up the sounds and scents of nature.

3.30 Mice in a Matchbox

Mice in a Matchbox are something a little different. They take songs, some familiar, some original, some old and some new, and apply their own lively arrangements. They’ve been playing together for ten years and have two albums with a third in preparation. Often heard on local BBC and independent radio; stand by for a dynamic and exciting performance!

We are also hoping to have some wandering poets, declaiming to the trees in the orchard and maybe/probably encouraging visitors to have a go at the odd rhyming couplet or two!
